Machine arrière
Terms of Service
Effective 17 October 2026
What this service is
Machine arrière is a personal tool that assembles short videos from archive footage and uploads them as drafts to its author's own TikTok account, @machine.arriere.
It is not open to the public: there is no sign-up, no account to create and no service provided to third parties. Its only user is the author of the project, and the only TikTok account it connects to is the author's own.
What the application does on TikTok
- it uploads videos as drafts to the author's account; the author watches each one and alone decides whether to publish it;
- it reads the public counters of those same videos — views, likes, comments and shares — to see which ones work;
- it never publishes without a human decision, never interacts with other accounts, sends no messages and follows no one.
Where the footage comes from
All footage comes from archives whose licence explicitly permits reuse, including commercial reuse — public domain or an equivalent free licence. Each archive is checked before use, and its licence is recorded alongside the clip it produces. No content is taken from another account, another platform or a copyrighted work.
The narration is original text read by a synthetic voice. In line with TikTok's rules, the videos concerned carry TikTok's AI-generated content label.
Liability
The service is provided as is, without warranty, and its author may change or stop it at any time. As its sole user, the author alone bears the consequences of its use.
Compliance with TikTok's rules
The application is used in compliance with TikTok's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines and Developer Terms of Service. Any use contrary to these rules is not permitted.
Changes
These terms may be updated as the project evolves. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed.
