Machine arrière

Privacy Policy

Effective 17 October 2026

In short

Machine arrière is a personal project, run by a single person for their own account. The application serves no other users: the only TikTok account it connects to is its author's, @machine.arriere.

It therefore collects no third-party data. There is no sign-up, no form, no advertising tracker and no audience measurement on this website.

What data is processed

Only data about the author's own TikTok account, and only this:

No data about other people is processed: no viewer profiles, no comment contents, no demographic information.

What it is used for

One thing only: knowing which videos work, to decide which ones to make next. The counters are read periodically and compared with each other. Nothing is sold, shared or transferred to any third party.

Where it is stored

On a private server located in France, operated by OVH, accessible only to the author and protected by a password. The access tokens issued by TikTok are stored on that server with restricted access, and never pass through any third-party service.

How long it is kept

The measurements are kept for as long as the project exists, since their purpose is to compare over time. They are deleted, together with the access tokens, when the project stops or on simple request.

Revoking access

The permission granted to the application can be withdrawn at any time from TikTok's settings, under Security and permissions › Apps and services permissions. Revocation stops all access immediately. To request deletion of the data already recorded, write to the address below.
